8 Gta Characters Who Deserve to Return in Gta 6
Grand Theft Auto 6 is on the horizon, and it makes sense that countless fans of the series are excited. GTA 6 will see the return of Vice City, which is the Miami-inspired tropical collection of islands, but what about the characters from previous entries in the series? After all, this isn’t the first time that players will get to experience this city, since it was also present in GTA Vice City and Vice City Stories.
While many of the previous games are confirmed to be a part of a different universe, there are still multiple characters who could potentially return. Even though Tommy Vercetti likely won’t be appearing, there are still a bunch of characters who we think deserve to return in GTA 6.
Jerry Kapowitz
Jerry started out homeless in Liberty City during GTA IV until he found diamonds that started a crime war across the city. He used that money to open a gun and liquor store in Vice City, according to an in-game article. Letting players walk into that store in GTA 6 would tie up a loose end from around 18 years ago and give one of Liberty City’s storylines an ending.
Elizabeta Torres
Elizabeta Torres ran a big part of Liberty City’s drug trade before she got a 300-year sentence in GTA IV. Early looks at GTA 6 suggest prisons play a big role, including a women’s facility where Lucia spends time. A meetup with an inmate like Elizabeta could tie the two games together without feeling forced. She would have served 18 years by 2026, making her a wise mentor that Lucia could take advice from.
Lester Crest
Lester Crest spent GTA V and GTA Online serving as the planner behind every heist, earning a break by the end. Bringing him back to enjoy retirement in Vice City would be a nice payoff for players who played through the story and the online mode of GTA V. A little look at him chilling on a beach or a reference would be enough.
Roman Bellic
Roman Bellic was the comic relief that prevented GTA IV from getting too depressing, thanks to his big dreams, constant optimism, and invites for bowling. Depending on how his story ended, it’s easy to see him chasing a new business idea somewhere in Vice City, or just taking a vacation. A cameo where he’s seen bowling would be a cool nostalgic experience.
Yusuf Amir
Yusuf Amir showed up in GTA IV as a rich Dubai developer who kept pulling Luis Lopez into his schemes, then came back in GTA Online doing the same thing. His missions in The Ballad of Gay Tony are still remembered as some of the expansion’s best, full of exotic cars and weapons. Seeing him again in GTA 6, trying to build up his real estate business across Leonida, would suit Vice City’s wealthy style.
Agent ULP
Agent ULP, the International Affairs Agency contact also known as Bernard, has already worked over the protagonists of both GTA IV and GTA V for his own ends. A third appearance in GTA 6 would round things out nicely, with him roping Jason or Lucia into jobs dressed up as matters of national security. His slippery, self-interested style makes him a solid choice for a contact players can’t fully trust.
Dave Norton
Dave Norton doesn’t need to show up in person. But hearing him host The Underbelly of Paradise would be a nice touch. After all, he took the reins after Steve Haines died in GTA V. If he does appear, a line about cleaning up his roster of agents would show some growth since the last game. Either way, it’s a small link back to the federal side of the story without pulling focus from the new leads.
Rickie Lukens
Rickie Lukens could turn up again if heists make a comeback, or just as a hacker on a regular job. He’d have lots to say about the events of GTA V, like planning multiple jobs, which would make him an obvious pick to plan those same jobs again.
