Remnant II Out Now

Remnant II is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S from Gearbox Publishing and Gunfire Games.

Remnant 2 is the follow-up to the best-selling game Remnant: From the Ashes. It offers third-person action-survival shooter gameplay as you lead humanity against evil forces in an ongoing struggle for survival. This title elevates co-op survival shooters with uncharted worlds full of deadly surprises and encounters, providing players with an unforgettable gaming experience.

Players must assemble an army to save humanity in an organically generated world filled with branching quest lines, unique loot, and overwhelming odds that invite exploration and replayability either alone or three-person co-op play. Players will create their own playstyle using an expanded Archetype class system along with guns, armor and special augmentations – navigating hard fought challenges to save humanity from destruction.

Remnant II transports players into an expansive world that demands methodical yet frenetic ranged and melee combat against an array of cunning enemies and punishing boss battles. The developer promises that every time users start up Remnant 2 they’ll enter an ever-evolving world made from locations, enemies, NPCs, bosses, weapons and dynamic levels, which create unique experiences through elements being interwoven organically into its world and narrative.

Archetype systems give players more options for customizing their play style and help groups sync up passive abilities and stunning powers in co-op play, or combine Archetypes for hybrid styles. From precision skilled shots, close melee strikes, providing valued team support or unleashing their trusty canine companion on an army of beasts, Remnant II allows players to outfit their characters according to how they wish to play the game.
