Ninja Or Die: Shadow of the Sun Gets Release Date
Marvelous Europe has confirmed that Ninja or Die: Shadow of the Sun will arrive for PC via Steam on August 2, 2023.
As part of its release celebrations, the Nao Games title’s pre-release demo can now be downloaded and played via Steam up until July 17. Visitors of Japan’s premier independent games festival BitSummit Let’s Go!! can also participate in playing this demo on its showfloor during July 14-16.
Ninja or Die: Shadow of the Sun casts you as an ordinary pickpocket who, after witnessing an amazing cataclysmic event, finds themselves transformed into a deadly Ninja with lightning mobility. Ramen Seller becomes Samurai and Maiko turns into Geisha; your domain of petty crime quickly transforms into an explosive neon world full of castles, magic traps and parachuting assassins – someone has set traps around you that not only kill but protect as well – possibly both ways.
Ninja or Die: Shadow of the Sun is an ultrafast roguelite inspired by Japanese folklore set against an explosive event in Edo Japan, where players must master violent precision platforming with one-button controls that will leave you dead but wanting more!
Ninja or Die: Shadow of the Sun will debut for Windows PC via Steam on August 2, 2023.
